CSA Membership
What's a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (aka, CSA) is a great way to help local farms with the high upfront costs that go into growing crops each season (growing/selling fresh vegetables requires the farmer to take one a lot of financial risk due to the crop's very short "life" post-harvest and high investment prior to harvest). This allows farmers to have guaranteed "homes" for the produce that farmer grows, and CSA members get a "share" in that farm's output.
People sign up for a CSA Membership weeks or months before crops are harvested and prepay for "shares" of each harvest over a period of time. When harvest time rolls around, members receive the absolute freshest produce every week, often harvested just hours beforehand. We offer two options: a CSA Membership, which runs for 15-weeks twice a year; or a CSA Farm Card (a gift card to our online store or farmers market stand).

Our CSA Membership pricing is sliding-scale based on income (more details in the product description linked below). Each weekly "share" contains between 6-12 different crops. We grow many crops exclusively for the for our CSA members, so that members receive varieties that we are most excited about.

Want a little more flexibility over when you receive produce and what produce is in each share? Maybe the CSA Farm Card is right for you! Think of it like a Debt Card or Gift Card - you preload an amount ($350 in this case) and you can order anything from our online store every week depending on what you want! You can order a small amount one week, a large amount another, skip a week, or use it for merchandise, seedlings, or even pizza!
Our online store goes live for our all CSA members (card or membership) at Noon on Mondays and you'll receive first dibs on additions to your standard weekly CSA Membership share, or to create your custom order if your a CSA Farm Card holder.
We greatly appreciate the financial support that we receive each year from our CSA members, and we so very much value the relationships we form with our CSA members over the season!
Option 1: Sliding Scale CSA membership May 2 - August 8
We base the number of lower-priced CSA Membership on the number of people who sign up at higher-price tiers. The more higher-priced memberships we sell, the more memberships we can supply to those who cannot afford our base share rate of $25/week (or $375 for all 15-weeks).
Currently only our base rate shares of $25/share, and our higher price tiers of $30/share and $35/share are available.
On April 1st our lower priced shares, of $15/share and $20/share, will become available.
We will run a second CSA membership from August 29 - December 8 which will be available to sign ups beginning in June.
