WATERMELON (Citrullus lanatus) (90 – 100 days) (20 seeds)— Gifted to us from a friend in Tucson, Arizona, this is a true gem of a watermelon. It is a smaller watermelon, oblong in shape, and produces fruits that range from dark green to light green. It is a thin rind variety that splits when poked with a knife. The flesh is like candy crystals when freshly harvested. This is by far one of our favorites and it is by no means a common watermelon. Get you some and see how far you can spit those seeds, or save them.
